Anybody towing their PUP or anything else with a F150 Ecoboost? I am looking at upgrading my TV to 2012 or newer F150 CrewCab and really like the 3.5L engine.

I just want to know how you like it, things to look out for and what kind of fuel mileage you get towing the PUP.

I have a 2014 F 150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. I have used it to tow both our 2006 Starcraft 2107 and/or our 17 1/2' Tracker bass boat. Tows well and doesn't feel like it is straining to pull either toy. Gas mileage was/is a little disappointing. Towing in the hills of NEPA I managed 18 +/- per gallon. Comparing it to my 2007 GMC Sierra with the 5.7 engine, I don't notice a power difference. I do better mileage-wise compared to the GMC. HTH.

7 years is a big difference. I don't have a ford. But my 2012 gmc got double the millage of the 2002.

I tow an 8,500 pound travel trailer with my 2014 F150 EcoBoost. My truck has the Max Tow package. It does just fine. It won't even notice a PUP behind it.
