    Wife and I went camping on our inaugural first time in our new to us 2008 Rockwood Freedom pup. Some God-awful storms and rain. Good news is we loved it and our little dogs too. However we discovered a wet outside corner mattress and plywood underneath after the second day of rain. Still nice camper, but curious as to how to treat the canvas to prevent any more leaks. Help these newbies. Lol

    You can spot treat with campdry. Read and follow directions and warnings.

    We also had a similar experience with one of the bed ends. After a lot of rain, water seeped through one of the corners and when I touched the top of the canvas, it actually felt wet. However, the other bed end was dry. Our popup is new (2019 HW277 Rockwood). So I am wondering if you were able to treat the canvas? If so, what did you use and did it work. I know my canvas is still under warranty, but I just don't want the hassle.

    We used Coghlans water based seam seal, but the problem was really the seam had “opened up “ so I restitched the seam with a awl . No further leaks. Our last trip to Florida was great.

    Hello all. We have a Pop Up and have yet to be caught in the rain so don't know if our bed canvas will leak or the corners get wet. I had thought to be prepared and bring clear shower curtains and clamp onto topper edge and let drape over the outside canvas (if I know the rain is coming). Would installing those Gizmos covers be better than what I'm planning?

    PUGs would probably be more practicable and last longer.

    Test the pop up at home, use a hose. Then you will know beforehand if it leaks!

    PUGs = Popup Gizmos.
