It's like camping except there's walls and a roof

You don't know the half of it lol! We've chased out wasps, birds, bats, and mice and we even cleaned up some bear scat.

It's like camping except there's walls and a roof

We've gone darker than dark. Picked up a couple of acres with a fixer-upper house. The wife says it's more of a tearer-downer but anyway.... Right now we're living in the camper while we work on it, but things are cold in Northern Michigan now, so we had to winterize it. Got the wood stove...

When the state park says 20’ rv limit, do I fit?

According to the internet (which we know is never wrong), your pup is only 19' 3". You can do a rough estimate by measuring the box. The open length is going to be smaller than twice the closed length. As bikenfish said, if your box is 10 feet, your open length is probably right at 20'

    Considering the popup-to-hybrid move

Disclaimer: I've never used a hybrid. My son and his wife have one and they love it (but they've never had anything else). On to my story.... I have a camping buddy who went from a pop up, to a travel trailer, to a hybrid, then back to a pop up. I was considering going to a hybrid so I talked...

    Help for popup upholstery

You don't mention what type of pop up you have, but as far as I know on all models the canvas can be removed without removing the roof.

First trip in the bag, a few questions that came up

    1) Devices that run off of 12 volts do not have the type of plug that would go into the 120v outlet. You could add an automotive style 12v plug if you want to use the 12v to power devices. Sometimes manufacturers will use a 1/4" phono jack for 12v power. 2) There are several ideas for hot water...

    Hello Everyone!

Welcome from Michigan! I like the camo paint. How does it tow since you put on the hard walls?

    Weird electrical issue

Sounds like you've got a shot to power somewhere. I'd start by pulling the switches out and looking at the wiring.
