    Wonderfully mice free!!

Filled mine with Bounce sheets and a few d-con sachets and glue traps. Not a single intruder.

Oh, that's excellent. TYVM. I tried metering it to see if it was outputting voltage to charge the battery while I was on shore power, but either it doesnt, or I wasn't in the right mode to get results. Once I've got polarity straightened out there, I'll have several redundant power systems...

Oh, it's twin was just for sale in the valley area then. I'm up in Appleton myself. 'grats on the buy, she looks to be in great shape.

Looking at the palamino in your profile, I think you and I live near(ish) each other. Is that the one that was on FB marketplace in Oshkosh?

So, I'm out here looking at the wiring harness on the tongue of my 89 MXL Hardside. There's the obvious wiring for the brake lights, that's fine. And there's a SAE connector that I presume is for the battery connection. But, I want to confirm (A) that's what that does, and (B) does anyone know...

I'm pretty sure I have the standard factory faceplate on the heater. Attached is a picture of it in mine.

Excellent. Have you got any pictures of the mustang up? I'd love to compare the hard and soft wall versions

I'll still let you know, when I pull it out of storage. Is your heater in the bottom half of the kitchen module, down by the fridge, beneath the stove? or is the canvas-side one different? It would be weird to me if they had the heater on one side, and ran a wire all the way to the other side...

Hello, fellow 89 Mustang owner! Hard-sided model? I'm not 100% certain of my recollection, but my first thought is that it might have been on the drivers side support pillar that you lock in when setting up, and connect the lights at the top. I'd be glad to take pictures when it gets warm...

1989 Palomino MXL Hard Wall, AC Question

Fair, fair, I don't really relish the idea of cutting into the shell. Not entirely opposed to it for the right reason, but everything else would have to be pretty perfect to convince me to go that route.

    Hello from Wisconsin!

thanks for the warm welcome everybody! Ain't that the truth. I'm working on exactly that as we speak, just trying to get some friends to agree on dates. I'm also hoping to pull off the occasional weekend trip for first-come-first-serve sites at High Cliff. Yeah, it's right next to town, but...

1989 Palomino MXL Hard Wall, AC Question

Well, it primarily depends on one thing for me. If there's a cavity where I can just slide in a window mount AC unit and work out some kind of drip tray, then I'm all for putting in a cabinet AC, because I can get a window mount for probably $50 easy. I can put a box fan by it, to direct the air...

1989 Palomino MXL Hard Wall, AC Question

I think you're right. The model showing that grate in the brochure is the one size bigger, the TXL. I think it must take the place of some of the storage drawers, if its in the same location on the MXL

    Hello from Wisconsin!

I did manage to get in an overnight in the driveway, atleast. Was that last burst of 50's and 60s we had before winter realized it was due on stage. Just enough to whet my appetite for more.

    Hello from Wisconsin!

Thanks! I suppose I was so busy gushing about the camper, I forgot to mention I'm in Appleton. So, howdy neighbor :)
