Just bought a TV Tuner for my laptop

Didn't even realize there was such a thing until I saw this thread. Can someone give me an idea how much you paid for your tuner? I took a quick look this weekend at Fry's and they range in price from $60 to $100. What's the difference? Can I get one cheaper somewhere else?

    Pop-Up smashed by bad driver

Talked to my insu co. They said I'm covered under the collision coverage I have on the trailer. Didn't even realize I had that. Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04 Mitsu.Endeavor Go Mean Green! Edited by - kylelinda on March 31 2009 17:49:57

    Pop-Up smashed by bad driver

It was hooked up to the car (which we were in). We were in a parking lot. We saw him coming, I honked, but there wasn't time for his slow brain to react. It is insured, but I think it's just comprehensive. You're covered by your regular car insurance when you're "under way". At least I think so...

    Pop-Up smashed by bad driver

My PUP was hit last weekend by an uninsured driver. Pretty much hit it square on the "not-door" side. It pushed the side in about 2 inches. No damage to the lift system (as far as I can tell). Anyway, are there places that repair this kind of damage? Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04...

    First PUP: 97 Palomino vs. 99 Coleman/Fleetwood

We have had our '97 Palomino Pinto for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever. I'm very pleased with the quality. Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04 Mitsu.Endeavor Go Mean Green!

    AC runoff/gutter mod

I made one of these and used it for the first time on the 4th of July weekend. I had to duct tape it to the edge of the roof. It would not stay put by itself. My canvas is not that tight against the roof edge. It worked fine once I taped it up there. Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04...

Gurgling water sound, little air flow

So, that's what's happening...it's freezing up? It happened overnight, so I didn't go out to see if it was still draining. Unless someone can think of something else, I'm going to assume everything is okay. I'll start running the fan on high and cut the thermostat down from now on. Thanks...

Gurgling water sound, little air flow

What is happening if I hear a water gurgling sound and the air flow from the A/C pretty much stops. What little flow there is is still very cold. I can turn it off for a while and then it's back to normal. This has happened only a couple of times and, otherwise, the A/C works perfectly. Kyle...

    Any regular AC maintenance needed?

Other than cleaning the inside filter, is there anything I need to be doing to maintain my rooftop a/c unit? Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04 Mitsu.Endeavor Go Mean Green!

    Need repair help

I ended up drying out the rotted panel and then gluing a pressure-treated 1x2 to it along the entire length of the rear panel. I attached the 1x2 to the side panels with corner brackets. I used "Goop" to seal around the rear running lights and around the latch hooks. I think I'm good to go...

    Need repair help

I have searched and see lots of people talking about replacing panels, but I haven't found anything that tells me how to disassemble the rear part of the roof in order to get that rotted panel out. There are no screws anywhere back there. Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04...

    Need repair help

OK, I took a closer look. It appears that the end panel sits in the aluminum trim that the rubber gasket is attached to. It looks like all I have to do is remove that aluminum strip and the end panel will fall out. Problem is, I can't tell what's holding that strip on. Is it just the screws...

    Need repair help

Hi all, I opened up the PU this weekend and made a rather disturbing discovery. There is a particle board panel, about 5" by 7' that runs across the rear of the roof shell. It is where the rear running lights are attached. Therein lies the problem. I think that water is running in where...

Front stabilizers - do you have them?

Our '97 Palomino only has stabilizers at the rear, so the tongue jack is the only thing holding up the front. I have an old car jack and I pull out the jack from my tow vehicle to shore up the front. Can you buy stabilizers and install them? Kyle Coppell, TX '97 Palomino Pinto '04...
