If you look at manufacturing trends yes pups are dead. Only new are Forest river glued and staples. All used ect are irrelevant in that discussion. Pups are dead 💀

Certification of the heater on my 2000 Viking Tent Trailer

Leak testing is done by using potable tank and water pump. If pump does keep turning on a leak is present somewhere on lines or water heater. Common break at water pump too.

Convincing significant other of Pop UP

Towing a hybrid or travel trailer has nothing to do with weight. The frontal area alone is kills the motor. The weight rating is overall stability if combination. Put 8500 lbs behind a 6400 lb truck. The trailer runs the show

    Kayak transport

I carry 4 kayaks on my pickup rack. Looks like yours might rip off. The only rack I’d put on pup has to go through roof perimeter board and side wall board with screws through the screw track trim. Interior roof is foam, luan and outer weather proof paint.

Is your pup roof completely "flat"?

That sag is not from the rail use. Google construction of it mostly foam and luan. No ac support bars either. Drop ac in vent hole and it’s over Johnny.

Easiest Pop Up to set up?

I would get a low wall if you can’t physically reach the bed slides. I have a front trunk highwall that requires you to balance one leg on frame pull one side a little then repeat other frame rail.
