To be spread out in 2 or 3 places makes it really difficult to try to plan a rally. I'm on both of those FB sites, but I don't know about others from here or how to get things going and the word out. Mark asked me to (and I said yes) but I think I'm going to have to pass on being the organizer...
It's quiet here. Most of the members are using another site. Could someone post here where that is so that others can find the group? I would... but I'm pretty confused myself!
That could be up for discussion. We had beautiful weather the end of July at Mt St Helens this year. But maybe it would be better to go in August if we're going to the coast. It would be great if we could get a time and place arranged so that we have ample opportunity to get reservations when...
Kalaloch is beautiful, as well as Coho. Either would be a good choice, I think. Kalaloch is a lot bigger though, which would give opportunity for more people to get a site.

Apparently I am going to be the Wagon Master for the 2018 Rally. Please be thinking about campgrounds that you like and/or have been wanting to try.
Thanks,

Hellooooo. Anybody home? It's awfully quiet here and our rally is only weeks away. Is there a head count and a list of site #'s for the rally participants? I miss the way these rallys used to be set up.
You made some good points too. I vote for the pot luck like we've had in the past. Otherwise if someone has to stay back at each site to get things ready, they're going to miss the fun. Ladies... it will probably be us. LOL
This state park is located in Central Washington on the Columbia River, very near the bridge where you cross over the Columbia to Biggs Junction, Oregon. It is a beautiful park with huge grassy irrigated lawns. It feels like an oasis.
A few minutes from the park, is Maryhill Museum...
Mark, I haven't heard about this. Please explain more. So... we're going to each campsite and each campsite has to be prepared with enough dessert and drinks for everyone, rather than the pot luck dessert we've always had in the past? Hope you can get me excited about this. I like the...
There seem to be sites open at Iron Creek, Loop A, on our Rally Week-end. Let's get them booked up, people. We're expecting great weather that weekend. :)
Mark and all,
A neighbor of ours had pop up tent trailers for years, then they went without anything for quite a while. They just bought a new hardside. I've invited them to come to our rally, assuming that would be okay. They are booked into Site 11. Audrey and Earl Dew.
