Hello! We're planning our next adventure and trying to figure out the best approach to storing "dry" foods. These are foods I wouldn't normally refrigerate or have in a cooler, but may not hold up too well in a hot hot car in 90F weather. Ie. Peanut butter or.... marshmallows. We camp in...
It's 1996 Flagstaff. None of the blinkers, brakes, running lights...etc. works. However, we seem to have found the problem.
The circuit box from the wiring harness had correct power going in and not out. When we opened the box we found a fried circuit board. The real question is, what...
Everything is grounded -visually it looks good and the meter reads that it's all grounded. I think it has to be on the TV side. Taking it to a mechanic to see what they can find out.
So we finally got a controller installed for our pup's electric brakes. We've plugged it into the TV for the first time and none of the lights are working on the trailer. The brakes seem to be working, the controller reads voltage output on the lights. We've checked the ground wiring and all...
Not that I know of. I purchased this tape from Amazon. Then ran through the rod pocket & cut slits to stick the clips through, then put that up on the camper.
I'll try to attach some pics that might help? I went nuts trying to figure out what to do until I read about someone doing this! Lol...
I just thought I'd offer an update for any future users looking for a glide tape solution. I saw the idea on FB. I ran the glide tape though the rod pocket & cut slits for the clips. It worked perfectly. Taking them down to wash- may be a challenge but I'm happy to have them up.
For those...
Please forgive me if Plumbing is not the right place for this question. Our pup has the sink removed a few owners prior to us. I purchased a folding table camp sink for sites where we do have water hook-up. Unfortunately, most of our sites will not have the water hookup. I was wondering if...
For a younger dog, this advice is awesome but our dog is about to be 11yrs, she knows we come back. Like I said, she isn't destructive or anything - she just really likes people and doesn't want to be alone.
We camp almost exclusively at state parks. While we have made sure any sites we booked are pet friendly, I'm finding that certain areas within the parks are not (like the lakes) We'll probably follow the advice of some others to pick & choose which camp trips she tags along with us on. If we...
Thanks for the responses. We've mainly done cabin stays & didn't get to take the dog, but our last trip we kept thinking about how much she would love it. We mostly hike & explore but now and then want to do other things. Seems like I'll need to research the areas well and pick and choose...
Do those of you who take your pets with you and your family while camping - do you find it difficult to coordinate things to do with the kids? We would like to take our dog with us for most camp trips, but we won't be leaving her in the PUP alone at all. This would make use of pools, lakes...
Thanks folks, feeling a lot better about all our picks! Most of them were just taking what was left - just wanted to make sure I will wouldnt get looks.
