Bought the reflectix and made them while at the beach. Not sure how much that helped, as it was hot. Had to pieces a couple together for the side windows as well.
I'll have to look into how to make the bunk covers. See if it is more cost effective to do it myself.
It all depends on your comfort level.
All but 1 side of the camper can open up. The side with the bathroom, furnace and fridge has a slide out with 1 tiny window.
We can open the whole thing up just like the pup we had and its ok, depending on the temps.
Just spent a week at Myrtle Beach end of...
Been a while. Haven't been here in a long time.
I ordered the seal from Uni-Grip.com . The part number I ordered is SD-210-T, at the time it came in white or black.(probably still does)
I got SD-210-T WT, 31 ft of it to cover both front and rear bunks. Had to call them to order at the time. But...
Hey, we'll be there. We waited till the last minute. We've had so much going on, we didn't think we could make it. But managed to sort things out. We'll arrive Thurs evening. See y'all soon.
Won't be making it in tonight. Have to work in the morning.
Will be heading over tomorrow.
Hopefully the rain isn't too bad tomorrow afternoon. [{}=][{}=]
See yall soon...
Just got back from a week of camping. Had the worst site ever, very un-level. Wish I'd had these to get the camper level. Seems to me, with the good customer service you received, I'm going to get some.
Well, ordered a new converter and installed it this weekend. All is back to normal.
Put the battery on a trickle charge for a few days while waiting for my order to arrive, let it sit for a day unhooked and the volt meter read 12.6v. Is that good?
Might take it and have it tested.
Thanks...
I believe everyone would be concerned to some extent. With everything flapping around it's hard to NOT be concerned. But you'll be fine. The PUP is made to handle a good amount of wind.
But if you're looking for a piece of mind, get/make/take/put in 2x4's between the roof and side (where the...
Yeah the fridge thing has me confused, it only has a switch that reads Auto or Gas. And the gas part has never worked. We just plug into the house and turn the fridge on. Getting it nice and cold. When we unplug to leave, the fridge light for gas usually comes on and we have to shut the fridge...
Thanks rabies, the links sent me in the right direction.
One troubleshooting tip says to disconnect the battery, plug the unit into AC power (the house), and check the voltage at the battery with volt meter. If you get approx 13.6 Vdc the converter is functioning properly.
Mine read 4.9 Vdc...
We were plugged in. A/C running the whole time. Microwave worked. Never an interruption for those items.
Just lights died and fridge quit working. Slideout was dead when we went to leave. I jumped the battery with the car to close the slide.
I flipped the camp site breaker off/on just for...
Have always left it on in both the PU and HTT. Never had an issue.
I've heard a few people say they've froze up but never witnessed it.
Enjoy the cool air!
Hey all, could use some advice.
Went camping for 5 day and on the evening of the 3rd day the lights quit working.
In the morning of the 4th day noticed the fridge temp was going up, but the green light was on steady. We turned on a light and the fridge green light went out. Lights didn't work...
