    Storage for my torpedo level

I just don’t trust the iPhone level app because you can’t lay the phone flat. Buttons on both side edges prevent it, as well as the camera lenses on the back.

May 2022 - what did you do for your camper?

Pulled it into the driveway from the side yard (winter storage spot) and opened it up. Glad to see no leaks or evidence of mice.

    Pricing a 2006 Fleetwood Timberlake

A friend of mine was widowed three years ago, and since she doesn't go camping anymore, she's wanting to sell her late husband's pop up. It's an '06 Fleetwood Timberlake. 10' box, front storage, shoilet, outside shower, two propane tanks. It's in excellent shape, stored in a garage. No mold...

    Battery disconnect switch

If you wire the batt to breakaway directly, it won't matter where the switch is. I just make sure to turn the power on when I'm towing. Also keeps the battery topped up while I drive.

January 2022 - what did you do for your camper?

Made a "snow roof" so I don't have to clean it off after every storm.

December 2021 - what did you do for your camper?

Parked it in the side yard for the winter. Planning on rigging something up with a tarp to make an angled roof so I don’t have to clear the snow off of it.

adjusting fridge & pilot light level/knob

It looks like a pilot light, but that’s the actual burner for the fridge. It’s small. Summer I always put it on high. Fall/spring I turn it to medium at night so stuff doesn’t freeze. The 1-7 dial is for running it on Shore power (nothing to do with the propane). The manual from Dometic is...

Models with Slide and U-shaped Dinette

Mine's not a highwall. We put the front table (would go between the two benches up front) on the rail outside, so we have the table set up in the u-dinette. So in our camper the front is easier.

Models with Slide and U-shaped Dinette

Rockwood 1980 meets the weight and u-dinette requirements. Not so much the slide out though. U dinette hinders access to the rear bunk. But that’s ok as I sleep in the front.

    Dometic Awning Telescoping Pole STUCK

Unless someone has a trashed dometic awning with a good top pole they’d like to sell lol.

    Dometic Awning Telescoping Pole STUCK

Tried the hot water in the joint trick. No joy. Even with two people trying to turn it using a monkey wrench and vice grips. The wrenches started scraping some of the aluminum off even. Going to use the other pole to figure out exactly how deep the cam lock is. I think I want to heat the...

    Dometic Awning Telescoping Pole STUCK

Thanks. I was going to do this yesterday, but I spent 6 hours under my car replacing an A/C clutch.

    Dometic Awning Telescoping Pole STUCK

So, soak the pole in a rub of hot water, or pour hot water down into the joint?

    Dometic Awning Telescoping Pole STUCK

On the first trip of the season, it was drizzling during set up. So I deployed the dometic awning. One of the infinitely adjustable poles (twist to lock) that go from the roof to the awning rail was seized. I gerry-rigged a solution with a ratcheting load bar in its place, which worked ok. But...
