Curious what is your destination in Sask? Is it family or is there a place to go see?
Been tryin to plan into Sask, but really nothing jumping out as exciting to see
Another real good thing to have, espically now days. Is gasbuddy app for your smartphone if you have one. Can end up saving you...
Just did a VERY similar trip last summer.
From Winnipeg to Vancouver and back over 2 weeks. What a great trip it was. Towed my vintage 70s Lionel with a Santa Fe SUV, my best advice it remember that you are towing a camper. And if you can go 8 hours driving without one, chances are after 5 or 6...
So I am going on my 3rd year owning my 1970's Lionel Popup. I have put weeks of labour and sweat into a complete restoration on the pup. Customizing everything to my liking and needs. The canvas is going downhill fast and needs replacing, however last week my sister who just bought a cabin...
Please let us know how rubber ducky works out. Its on my short list of close to town last minute kid camping sites.
Normally I prefer to be at minimum 2 hours from home when camping, but sometimes its not possible.
Get some wood on there STAT!!
Not much you can do out at the camp site, however once you are home you can shorten that cable and get some of those clamps that are on the others to hold it together.
Enjoy the campfire, its too wet out here to have one :(
It also looks like it is the only one that has not been 'repaired'
Keep in mind cable will stretch over time, causing things like this. The other cables look newer in the pics i could be wrong, but that needs shortning.
it can be fixed. but you will need some tools, possibly new cable. And patience.
I was hoping you were on the west side on Ontario, as id just come show u what I mean, but other side of Superior is not my stomping grounds.
Its just the one corner causing grief? Or is the entire unit looking...
Awesome job Jenn,
Looks good enough for me :) If you want to level it out even more, put some vice grips on the cable and use it for leverage.
But it looks as it should! No roof is perfect, especially the older campers
