Well...after popping up for few years and really enjoying being able to travel around, late last year we decided to buy a camper on a seasonal campsite in MN called Springvale. Last year we only had about 6 weeks and most of that was spent cleaning out the old stuff that came with it, tearing...
After much discussion and writing things out, we have went to the dark side. I'll miss being able to travel to different campgrounds as we have purchased a travel trailer on a seasonal lot. I've struggle with a back issue all this year and the pup made it even worse and it would take me at...
We will have a new faucet installed (not an RV one but a drinking fountain faucet to replace the pump style). At the same time replacing the cracked drain so it stops leaking (or so we can now use the sink!).
We have camped at Cannon Falls campground and Hay Creek in Red Wing. We didn't care for Hay Creek this time because we were next to the county road-which was VERY noisy. They have a section not so close but there aren't many trees in that area. We took a drive through Shades of...
It's damp along the entire seam. The material that is folded over all the corners on the outside. We can't work on it in winter because of where we live and we have no place to keep it up to work on it.
Hi there,
I haven't had this problem with them falling off. Ours slide into a track type thing. Do you have a picture to show which type you're talking about?
Well..we still have a little leakage. And yes, the Marine goop is hard to work with. I think we will probably end up covering up the canvas strips on the corners....they are deteriorating. This might be a project for next year.
T made new plates for the new jack and then painted them and he installed the new jack. Also worked on the cabinet replacing the ice chest. I mostly just watched.
I tried the wax trick. The zipper had jumped some teeth but with a little working back and forth gently, I was able to get the zipper lined up. Now it opens and closes like a dream!
Yesterday I replaced the screen on the door..sewed up a couple spots on the bed end and fixed the zipper. YES, the wax trick does work...yay. I was so [:D]
Yeah...I noticed the teeth were pushed up a bit(they are like a plastic type)...so I pushed them back down into the material. But now I have one zipper at the end closing it up...and it won't go over the open part. Then the other zipper comes up from the bottom to meet this separated section...
I'd be interesting in finding this out too....we have one zipper on our "window" that skipped some teeth on one side so it's wonky and we can't get it to close up now.
