I'm glad you guys had a very good time. My surgery was Monday the 20th and was a success. I'm just now getting my head up out of the water. I'm really looking forward to the next Rally.
Well, I wish I had the chance to make it. I need major surgery Monday to repair erosion damage from hernia damage and they are going to take half my belly.
You guys enjoy your selves, and maybe a little for me, also. Have a great rally and I will hope for the next one.
Rotnmom, I sent you a message, but I was on my phone. I won't bee able to make it. They won't let me out of the ICU. I really wanted to make this, my first one. Take care and hopefully I'll make it next year.
Nous, what am I going to do with 10 lbs of patato salad?
Then I suggest you take that propane tank to a propane supplier and ask them to fill it. Bet they won't.
I repeat, Rhino tanks have a proprietary fill valve that has a valve internally that prevents filling by any other than a Rhino facility.
Ask a real propane professional, not a salesman at...
Possibly a bad sail switch, bad gas control valve, faulty regulator on the propane tank, faulty igniter, and last but not least, is the propane tank empty?
There's a lot more campgrounds than you think with those type spigots. Especially the more "undeveloped" ones. They don't want someone hooking up a regular hose and hogging the only water supply.
elkmontb10, you cannot get a Rhino tank refilled at your "favorite" place. They can only be filled at a Rhino station. The tanks have a proprietary fill valve that requires a nozzle with a magnet in it.
On the back bumper of the PUP? Just be aware you can't carry those water bottles filled. That's 150 lbs of water on that number. You will never be able to pul the tongue down to connect it to the ball. :)
I deliberately left out mention of Tow/Haul Mode because it's not germain to the discussion. Only pickups and van/suvs have that mode, and for the most part we were discussing non Tow/Haul vehicles.
My 2008 Canyon operates in exactly the way I described. And every 4L60-E without Tow/Haul...
Is the valve handle round or tricorner? Round is old style with no overfill valve. Take it to the nearest tank exchange and exchange it for a newer tank. Try not to get Rhino.
In general, if you prefer to refill your tanks instead of exchange, you can only get a Rhino tank filled at a Rhino...
Take a piece of fine steel wool and polish the thermocouple. Make sure it's centered in the flame. Search on the manufacture's website for your model and look at the literature for your model of the thermocouple placement. It should be centered in the flame and less than 1" above, or it may be...
Carefully examine the canvas areas at the lift poles. Very near one of them, probably the rear street side one, should be the wires going through the canvas to the roof for the lights. Check the plugs on each end.
Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get the cheapest Hunter replacement thermostat and extend the wiring do you can use Velcro and raise the thermostat off the floor for more accurate temp control and better distribution of heat.
Mounted at floor level, the heater tends to raise the temp near head...
So, I did a little research on the 4L60-E transmission. Before you holler, got to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_4L60-E_transmission and see all the applications.
At any rate, I found the 4L60 service manual and it confirms my description of it's operation. Yes, in Overdrive Range, TC Lockup...
