This is my first camper would rather have to much batt than not enough. We camp on the blueridge parkway in NC can get cold at night last year was in the low 40's in the last week of June and the 30's first week of Sept. Want to run the furnace some at night some lights, refrigerator and waterpump
Thanks for the info I will go with two batteries. Found some group 27 deep cycle with 175rc at sams club on sale for 59.00 each. My current group 24 only has 100rc. What gauge wire should I use to add the second battery.
I bought a 2008 hw276 Rockwood it came with a new interstate batt with a group 24 with 400cca. My question is which would have a better capacity (last longer) two of the 400cca batteries or one with 875cca. We will be boondocking 3-5 days at a time.
