The AC fan sure is noisy...what? I said...

My TT AC isn't exactly quiet. I sleep like a baby listening to it.

Water System Sanitation - Star San

Less than a cup of bleach santizes a 50 gallon tank. It's cheap and readily available. I don't see a reason to look for an alternative.

How to fix cracking in the front fascia panel

I fixed many a crack in ABS back when I had my Apache. I made MEK goo and used fiberglass cloth. If I were disassembling, that is what I would use on a crack like that. However, I would guess that panel is probably gonna continue to crack due to age. Given its location, I'd consider buying a...

Buy a Pop Up with no a state inspection?

It wouldn't bother me. The state inspection is for tires, lights and brakes. Two outta three you can check easily. I'd inspect the brakes when I serviced the bearings, which is one of the first things I do on a used trailer.

Is a 325 F grease good for repacking the bearings?

I use Mystik JT-6 High Temp No. 2 grease. Its in a red tube. I chose it because it is on Dexter's approved grease list, is easy to find, and less expensive than the other popular red grease. I just took a look. It's temp rating is to 325.

    Roof Vent

My TT has a vent with a lid that was lifting in the wind when towing. A MaxxAir cover solved that problem.

    Eternabond

I'd use some plywood boards as foot spots and walk on that roof. I keep several pieces of 1/4 plywood laying around to get on my roof.

Is towing a TT or Hybrid easier, harder, or about the same

Physical size and tow/payload capacities make a huge difference when towing. I have a regular cab long bed half ton and a crew cab long bed 1 ton. I have a 25 ft TT. With the half ton, you know it's back there as far as it goes with wind gusts, passing trucks, bumps, ect. With the 1 ton...

I have foam cannon. I posted a pic of it in use back on page 1. I am cheap. I use Turtle Wax Zip Wash and Wax, though.

I have one of those Coleman clocks in my TT, except it's red. It's about 15 years old, but still works.

    Worst nightmare

I always feared not being able to close the camper back up and being in a site that had a reservation waiting to check-in the day I was to check out.

May 2023 - what did you do for your camper?

I hitched mine up and pulled it 350 miles yesterday. We are camping. I am happy that all systems are a go and working properly.
