So on a recent trip we noticed my support has gotten a bit bent. I have purchased some 3/4 emt with the intention of replacing them but I am curious if anyone has done this and what they used to crimp and bend to duplicate the originals.
TIA
Great news! I jumped the thermostat wire and the heater kicked on, actually got hot! Now I must wait for the tempature outside to drop below 90 so I can test the thermostat.
Hello all,
I am currently working on getting the heater working in my 95 jayco 1406. The heater is a Hydro Flame 7916 II.
The first issue I am running into is the blower won't come on. When I got the pup I did replace the exsiting thermostat with a super basic one from lowes, no on/off switch...
Thanks I will have to have a closer look at the thermostat, it's a new one so idk about a switch behind it,, but I will check. I know the switch on the heater was flipped to on, I don't recall an led, there was also another thing, not really a switch but it didn't move easily. I will have to...
Hi all,
I have 95 Jayco 1406 and on its madien voyage we found that the heater is not working. We will turn on the thermostat and can hear a click from that, and a heard a very low click in the heater itself. No fan, no smell of gas. The gas does work as the stove top is working.
TIA
When I took everything apart the wiring itself looked quite complicated, wires running back and forth, multiple wires going all over, plus I am omitting some things and adding the fan.
I am looking for someone wire up 3 new lights and an electric roof vent fan in my pop up that I am fixing up. I am located in Ocean County, NJ. Any help is greatly appreciated, the wiring from the converter to the roof is still there and just need to connect power to the new stuff.
So I have attached a few pictures of my current situation, I attached the roof sides, off my 95 jayco 1406, to the roof, but as you can see they roof ends aren't meeting up properly. I am not sure they issue or how to solve it. Any help would be appreciate? Thanks in Advance
So I have the frame all done, I bought some aluminum to add a little extra support to the frame, not enough for the whole thing, so where would you prioritize, the center support or the the multiple side to side supports? TIA!
p.s. more write up coming soon.
If anyone has any input that would be great. I am in the middle of my roof rebuild on my jayco jay 1406, and the roof measures in at 14 feet long, and i cant find any lumber that long. The 1x2s i got max out at 8 feet. And I was going to use pine boards for the side boards but again they don't...
After a few days of looking of this new pop-up project, cleaning stuff out of the inside, and stratagising an attack plan we got the jayco backed into the garage and started digging into it.
We went ahead and started with getting all of the canvas out of the pop-up and then began working on...
So here begins the story of my new to me 1995 Jayco Jay Series 1406 Pop up camper. Here is the back story, after being given the ok by wife to get a pop up camper I went into internet land to find the best deal I could. This particular camper I found on the marketplace on Facebook but after...
