After owning a popup for many years, the most stupid thing I did was add an AC on the roof. I honestly think the whiffle tree and the gears are meant for raising the roof without a 120 lb AC on top. Sure, you can try a drill. I did it with a "corded" Milwaukee drill and it smoked after less...
So I bought two sets to get the answer. It turns out I can only use one set per phone app. If I change them to another vehicle, I will have to redo the pairing. Not ideal, but the price is right.
We made 3 reservations at the nearby state parks. Bought a 12v Lithium battery from Li Time. It is supposed to last 10 years. But not sure what to use for a battery tender or a charger. A new toy for me.
Do you mean like this? I mounted the handrail on a 2x4. Notched the top so the 2x4 is locked in the edge of the roof. The bottom of the 2x4 has two bolts in T-nuts so I can loosen the bolts to extend the length till the 2x4 is tight. It is not meant to be as secure as a jungle gym.
Bought a Jace-E-Up for my Cargo Trailer jack. I can now use a power trailer mover without the trailer jack being in the way. A video shows how it works
A power wheelchair that lies flat is the bed for my wife. To carry that 450 lb beast, we need a full-size van (e.g. Econoline 350) with a ramp or lift.
We didn't have a chance to go camping with my handicap setup before my wife's disease got degenerated a bit further. Now she can't even take one step without the risk of falling. So we sold the Starcraft Launch and build a camper from a cargo trailer. It takes shore electricity and water, or...
Two problems that I have experienced with my Starcraft Launch: 1) the seal around the popout beds lost the sealing power over time. I ended up with water collected on the canvas. Adding a stick-on weatherstrip over the existing seal helped a great deal, 2) Any wood surface inside was...
The end of the handle may have a "push nut" to keep the plastic part from getting out. eBay still has it for sale at an outrageous price. I bought a spare a long time ago with less money. https://www.ebay.com/itm/294064883132?epid=1222661624&hash=item4477a205bc:g:VoQAAOSwQpZgTs4-
Let me try again. 1) the platform is supported and leveled by an RV stabilizer jack, 2) IndeeLift on a lazy Susan, 3) Sitting on the IndeeLift (21" chair high), 4) battery-powered elevation by the remote, 5) A 90-degree turn (that is what the lazy Susan is for), walking off the lift. She can...
My guess is that the cables need adjustments. Meanwhile, try to raise the lower side with this https://www.homedepot.com/p/Keeper-Ratcheting-Cargo-Bar-47059/207097432
This works great when I installed it on a camping sink.
