    Happy New Years all,
Back into camping after a layoff and just purchased a 2013 Rockwood Premier 2516g. Interior lights, Radio, water pump not working on 12V but work fine when plugged into shore power. I haven't put a meter on the battery but I did charge it and the power winch lifted the roof just fine. Any ideas or suggestions? Bad converter?

    Cal

If working when plugged in, converter is working. Something between the battery and the inside, possibly a fuse or in line circuit breaker

my guess is the inline circuit breaker, I installed one on mine so I wouldn't have any power leaches when not in use, but the lift will still work with power off

I followed positive from battery to a small black rubber box with 25A fuse. Fuse looked good although it did appear a bit corroded inside. Looks like wire then ties into wires coming off rat tail.

    Check for a second fuse.

Had a similar issue and when tracing cables found a second fuse was blown.

Also test w battery in parallel w TV to the ensure the battery is not weak. Are you able to do specific gravity test or bring into auto parts store?

There will often also be a reverse polarity fuse/breaker in the converter for the battery - check for that also.

I followed the positive wire off the battery and this is the only fuse I could find. I just mounted a new winch so I'll have to check behind the converter in the next few days when I can raise the roof. I'm not sure if you can see the corrosion in the picture but am wondering if that could be the issue. I'm posting not sure if the pictures will come out:

Yes, that corrosion could be the culprit. If you can't clean it you might have to replace it.

It might clean up with a small amount of baking soda and water paste with a little scrubbing from an old tooth brush.

An inline fuse holder is like $4 at AutoZone. Weatherproof cover and all. Don't try to salvage that piece of junk

Do a continuity check on both sides of the fuse holder to check for another break.

On my system, I have to make sure the Galley (Sink) is in the usable position or the 12 volt will not work. There is a switch that is depressed when the sink is in place. Did you have your Galley in place or in travel position? If the galley was up properly then you may have a bad switch.

    Hey Everyone,
Canon 101, I did check the galley switch and depressed it to make sure lights would go on and off which they did. I finally got a new battery for multimeter. 12.7V at battery which was good. Nothing at fuse holder in previous pictures. Got new one at auto part store and just finished putting it on with new fuse. 12.7v at that as well. Still nothing inside. Where should I check for continuity past the first fuse? At the breaker panel?

Will radio and water pump turn on when galley switch is up or is that just for lights?
