Finally got the ceiling restored. It was a MESS. Hours of sanding and still some crackling in the original paint. Decided to just say “good enough” bc it will never be perfect. Added two nice coats of latex to the inside roof and 95% of cracks are filled/gone. Looks clean and bright.
Waiting on weather to get warm enough to lay the floor. So frustrating! Should have warmer weather this weekend. Bought two cases of a nice vinyl plank.

tent canvas arrives today from canvas replacements! Need to get the body painted before I install it...but once again....cold for painting.

the sanding seemed to help the crazed fiberglass but after a washing...it was a mirage. So roll and tip it shall be!

just a few photos of the interior paint. Thanks for following

Loving the yellow roof! Going to do a yellow stripe...anyone have a vinyl stripe supplier they like? Thinking of looking at Overtons, as I striped my boat with their stuff and it’s lasted great.

    Looks great!
Had to look up ‘roll and tip’ method. Any day is a good day when you learn something new! :)

We have an Irwin's Kamper, too! My grandparents bought it in either late 1966 or early 1967, but it looks nearly identical to yours. We had to guess on the year for the title, so it says 1966. My husband and I inherited it 17 years ago, but we haven't made its restoration a priority until this year. He's a nurse, too, so we completely understand the working an extra shift to pay for something. It might help you to know that Irwin's was made by a company called Kamp-craft, and the popup history website has a little information on it. Our Irwin's became the Kamp-craft Capri in the late 1960s.
