1965 Nimrod

    Someone in VT has just the box of a Nimrod for sale on CL. They have been using it as a utility trailer.

    Unfortunately I've heard versions of that story several times since purchasing this one. I imagine they would make a good utility trailer, but I think they make better campers. [V]

    Wow I grew up in a Nimrod. Ours had three pull outs. I can't remember what model. I remember Dad installing a water pump in it. The memories are the reason I camp today.

    The only memory I have is of the one night we camped before my mom said, "Never again!" So my wife and I are making our own memories and hopefully making some for our nieces and nephews - and my nearly 3 year-old seems to enjoy it, so I hope that will last.

    David,
    I just purchased a 1966 Riviera. Yours is ion much better shape than mine is. My canvas is shot and the floor/bed plywood is soggy. I do however have the ice box and screen house options.

    My son lives in Athens, OH. How far si that from you?
