For those who might be interested in seeing what a '65 Sears Tent Trailer looks like, here's my latest project. I have found similar, ie. 1963, 1968, etc but no 65's. I've been persuaded to leave the paint as is...I was planning on stripping it and painting. I was quoted $300 for a new decal to be made up by Fast Signs. Going to leave box as is, and replace a few of the travel decals on the rear.
Hope to have it cleaned up and ready for it's first camping trip since the 80's to the Lake Tahoe area. Can't wait! If anyone has the same, please share. I have the original paperwork that came with it.

Crazy how standards changed in a generation or less. This is literally a bed in a trailer, with a tent covering. Is there storage under the bed at least?

$300 for the logo? You can 3D print it for a LOT less. I would estimate $3-5 for materials.

By looking, it appears that the entire underneath is storage, accessible from inside or out. It would have been nice to store all camping equipment, without having to load the car each time. Plus, one bed at least up off the ground. I wouldn't use it these days, but once upon a time, I would have felt it was luxurious to own.
