What length do you have on your PUP? I have a Model 206 Flagstaff. I thought we had similar models.

I'm trying to post an image but don't know if I have it figured out yet. Do you click the add image icon and then copy and paste the url between the brackets? You are able to post pics, so give me a hint.

    phoodieman,

Mine is an 8ft model 618 LTD circa 1992

To post a picture, hit the IMAGE [IMG] icon and insert the url in between the two image tags.

... of course it would have square [ ] brackets though.

They do look a lot alike though. I think I saw a C channel for an awning on yours. I saw a few posts about making one. You have any ideas? One of the cooler ones used electrical conduit that had down riggers to the frame with large cotter pins for setup.

Thanks for posting that info. Where'd you find it?
Seems yours is in fact a little longer and wider than mine.

If you look way back on page #1 of this thread, the first pic shows the awning that came with it. It is too long and is burgandy. I haven't decided what to do about it yet. I'm considering just cutting it down to length, but I'm not a real big fan of the color. We'll see.

Whatever I decide, you can be rest assured there will be pics ;)

What a long thread. I went back and looked. Why would someone choose that color? I think a lighter color would help keep the heat and UV damage less.

I got the info off of the NADA website. I took the list prices off. I suggest that if anyone wants to know what their PUP is worth to go there.

I think I'm going to try the setup I posted above for the awning. It will be different though because if I get rain I could see a problem with pooling near the bottom. I'm boondocking over Thanksgiving weekend so the awning will have to wait.

I bought the bulb seal direct from Flagstaff folks. Stephanie in customer service was fantastic!

If you need a part number let me know. The info is on a different computer I have, but I can look for it.

This is a great thread for older vinatge pups with the chain and spring lift systems. Thank you member 92_Flagstaff for the pics and write up.

Thanks dcel, I appreciate the feedback! Been a few years since I completed it, and subsequently sold it, however I'm more than willing to comment on any specific areas of interest. I'm getting older, but my memory is essentially intact :) I've since moved on to another project, a little bigger, but the end result won't be as rewarding as that 'ol pup.
