Where er dem interior shots? suspense is a killin' me.
Lol, tomorrow. I am going to take advantage of the beautiful weather and open her up in the morning to finish up some odds and ends and get her ready for our first trip in 2 weeks.
Ok got some interior pics with the new curtains installed today, new Carefree of Colorado awning on. Cleaned her out and installed a new light.
That's absolutely great work - looks brand new. Where did you get the new canvas from?
From Jayco, ordered through my dealer. It was the last one they had and had it to me in 3 days.
absolutely stunning work!
great great great......nice!
kudos to you sir.
That was a great idea with the shrink tubing. The curtains are great.
Had to get my trim to the door repaired from a mishap from last year.
After fab shop fixed me up
Looking at all you have done I am more gung ho than ever to get started on the repairs to my 1207 Jayco. I got the Kool Seal in last week, but it rained. I order Gorilla Grip for the ends and are going to do the sides so that it matches the lid. I had a leak and don't have a choice but to a complete re-do on the top and figured it would look odd not to do the rest. Coin is my only draw back but if I can get most of the prep done I hope to be completely done by the end of the month fingers crossed.
I do have a question what product did you use when you replaced the seal that keeps the contact between the top and the sides? I can see daylight when my campers down and think I need a thicker ?gasket? strip.
I put all new butyl tape along both sides, something else that works ver very well is intrabond tape on seams before putting back on the pieces. If you need any help or pics let me know!
Door trim put back on, new vinyl insert and repainted.
I guess I didn't word it right, I'm looking for the rubber that goes around the bottom that keeps the air/ rain from entering the camper while driving. Thanks for the help.
Lol oops sorry! Here is what you want!
This is not the easiest thing to put on but with a little soapy water and practice it starts to go on easier!
Got tired of being intimidated by re packing the wheel bearings and jumped on it. Have to say not bad and was very pleased to find the wheel bearings in good shape. Also for future reference axle grease is a good moisturizer if your nose is dry lmao. Went to itch my nose and did not realize it was on my arm
Had a great Mother's Day trip this weekend to Raccoon Lake SP, got the kids bed divider put in and they both slept through the night for once!
Now due to the storm this morning this is how my garage looks for the next 24 hrs.
Nice Job. Looks like a better than new camper.
It's truly impressive what a little hard work and ingenuity can accomplish. Looks great.
Great Job! Looks so good.
Your total work is just OUTSTANDING!!
Cut the old LP tank off and replaced it with diamond plate, I think it turned out good.
Getting ready for a weekend trip tomorrow, ready to roll out!
