If you call Goshen they will need your make, model, and VIN number of the camper to match up a new cable. I'm assuming you have a Goshen lift system with the single cable running underneath the camper. Am I correct? And do you have a manual or electric winch? The cost for me was about $25.00.

What did they charge you for the cable?

First decide what lift system you have, the L&W system in inside the PU, under a step at each end and along the street side wall.

Goshen has tubes under the floor.

I'm betting your 96 has the L&W system like my '96 coachmen did.

There is some L&W detail steps somewhere on this web site.

Hmmmm. Doesn't sound like you had the Goshen system. The Goshen lift system only uses one cable that runs under the camper.
