    Hello PUP members [:D]

I recently bought my first ever pop-up and registered here for tips on maintenance and information. It’s a 2002 Bonair 1200 SL and I’m very happy with it until now.

The interior was completely restored by the previous owner (except floor) and It’s in great condition overall. This model offers a lot of floor space and storage, practical with 2 kids.

I replaced a post cable and this forum was a good source of information.

We’ve been using it a lot in the backyard and went on campsites 2 weekends so far, I really like pop-up camping in wild sites!

    any Bonair owners?

We just picked up a 2003 1200 this past weekend and we're excited to get out with it. I took a real leap of faith and purchased with the lift cables broken. I've ben searching everywhere and did find a good thread on this site about changing the cables but I'm super intimidated by it and, instead, have contacted some repair shops. I hope that I'm not in for a huge surprise [:!]

Any chance that you have a copy of the owner's manual?

    Matt

Here’s the link for the user manual. It’s an older version but useful for most bonair pop-ups.

I changed a cable and it’s actually not very complicated if you have basic tools and skills. What’s more difficult is adjusting the tension on the cables to get the roof level.

Congrats for your bonair! Its a great pop up worth taking care of, especially the 1200.
