2 Night Stay Requirement

    Awesome thank you guys! I went ahead and called the state park we were concerned about and they were super nice about it. Paying for 2 nights at a state park will still be cheaper than 1 night at a private campground and we won’t feel like we are camping in a parking lot!

    . You may have to call the campground to let them know. Most places I’ve gone to have no issues however if the campground is crazy busy they may mark you as a no show. Only once was I marked as a no show but it was a non issue as they assumed I wasn’t coming due to a very bad storm that was expected to hit.

    I like no shows sometimes too. They keep the park from being less crowded. So that’s a silver lining despite the shortage of good sited

    We will stay the first night and then cancel the second night on the booking website. We don’t get the money back but it does open the site to other campers. Not sure if that’s an option.
