these poles came with my pup, but I can’t figure out where they go.

And what about these brackets? There are two of them, on the bottom of the tongue-side bunkend (queen bed) near the outer corner. There are none on the other bed. No idea what they are for, either!

It looks as if the poles are your bunk end suports, they go into the brackets and back to the frame on the pup? The other one could go from the toung to the underside of the bed?

HA! No kidding. Yup that’ll do. Now the problem is that I seem to have bent the other support poles because we weren’t using everything we should have been...

What should I do about this...? It’s about an inch away from touching. I can’t believe I did this...

The two poles on the left side of the picture support a bunk end. The flat side goes in a slot on the bumper and the other end goes in the bracket shown in the next picture.
The pole on the right of the first picture I don't know. I have a Viking epic 1906 1998 and I don't have that.

Yep, they are for the front bunk. I have the same camper and same poles. Except for that long straight one. I have no idea what that one is for. The rear bunk does not have them and the weight capacity of that bunk is about 900lbs. ( if I remember correctly), and the front bunk is rated for 1,200lbs with the poles in place.

My 1998 has poles for both bunks. It may have something to do with the size of the bunk.
