To the folks that have a 2008 Fleetwood Seapine.

How many support poles do you have on the flip over portion of the galley? I just looked at a parts list for the camper and it shows 2 supports poles. Mine only has one by the sink. It seems to me that there should be one over by the stove because of the weight!

The stove side? I looked at photos of other 08 Seapines on dealership sites and they have 2 support poles!

I just sent an email to Coleman about this. Mine seems to be sagging on the stove side. I'm afraid some damage will occur because of this.

Ok, I received an email response from Coleman and they say only one support pole is required. But, if it seems there is a problem to take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

Ummm! I will be ordering a 2nd support pole tomorrow and install it on the stove side of the galley.

I don't think I need to drive 2 hours with the trailer to the dealer to figure that out.

We really love it. We like to keep things simple so no toilet or shower. We can pull it with either my 02 F150 or 05 Honda Ody minivan. We have driven out to Yellowstone with it and just came back from Myrtle Beach, SC (not where it is on fire!)

For the way we travel it has a great floor plan. We have no complaints except for the above issue with the 2nd galley pole which I just ordered from the dealer. Other than that it's great!

Just received the galley pole from Coleman today! It was backordered this whole time. Hope to install it sometime this week and hopefully it will solve the sagging galley when it's flipped over when trailer is closed up.

I've never heard of only one pole to support the sink. Sounds like the factory QA was lacking. Even if they wanted to use only one pole, they would have mounted that in the middle. I would see if the warranty covers this. I would definitely remedy the problem.

BTW, put a carpet runner down so that the poles don't rub a hole in the linoleum floor while traveling.

On a side note, I noticed that the '09s are now "Coleman" campers again. I also noticed that the Seapine now uses the same box as the Yuma (10' vs 11'). Too bad, I think the shorter box will be too short. Anyone have the background on the "Coleman" change?

Well, I installed the galley support pole on the stove side and it really made a difference. When it's flipped over it's nice and solid now as oppossed to being able to move up and down on the stove side.

Frodo, I cut two 4"x4" carpet squares to go under the poles to protect the vinyl. Just looked at the specs for the 2009 Seapine and Yuma and you're right, they both have 10" boxes now. I guess it was cheaper to build one box and have two different floor plans since it was only 1 foot difference between the two.

I had ordered the pole from my dealer and it was shipped directly from the factory. The dealer said they would call when it was going to be shipped so I could pay for it, but never received a call. So so far no charge. Funny though, I did write an email to Coleman about this problem and they told me the 2nd pole was not needed. Hmmm! I wonder if they had second thought on that?

Anyway, I'm happy I aded the 2nd pole, gives me a little peice of mind when going over bumps. [:D]

Little update on this. Received a call from my dealer and they are trying to get Coleman to pay for the part since they say the 2nd pole was suppossed to be there. It was not caught on the factory inspection and they say this missed it as well on their inspection at the dealership. So now just waiting to hear what came of this from the dealer.

Ok, here is the final story. A little late but at least it was taken care of.

Sent all the info to the dealership and Coleman will pickup the cost of the part. So no money out of my pocket and I'm happy with the end result.
