Well, I'm across from you! I have two sites reserved as a family member is likely joining us (dark side kinda folks). HOWEVER...we entered the twilight zone about a month ago and I'm not sure we'll emerge in time to get to the rally.

    In the past FOUR weeks...

I closed a deal to buy a building for the nonprofit I work for. Cost: $1.1M. Took two years to get there!
I closed a deal to buy a new house. Had to pack and move by myself with day of help from a couple neighbors and family.
MIL broke her hip for the third time in 2 years. Emergency surgery then 4 weeks in rehab. Has not gone well. Gets to go home next week, Tuesday.
Spouse been living w/FIL(who's 89) as he can't be left alone - dementia. Hasn't even moved into our house yet.

I think we've set a new stress record. Calling Guinness tomorrow to check it out. LOL!

We still have our sense of humor and are hoping against all odds we can make the trip. We'll make a final decision next week after we see how MIL settles in. If we can leave - WE WILL! I bought a gallon of Jack Daniels and already put it in the PUP. Don't really need anything else. [8D]

    Stay tuned...

    Just a reminder to all:

Salmon la Sac has no electric or water hook ups. Come prepared!

From the first post in the thread:

"Sites are $19/night for single sites, $38/night for double sites. An additional fee may apply for reservations. Some sites are FCFS. No water/electric hookups available. Vault toilets and water pumps available onsite."

Drinking water *is* available via spigots, just no city water hookup and no electric.

I don't believe there's a dump station either, so make sure your gray water collection (if applicable) is ready to go!

Sorry to hear. Here's hoping that someone here can take your reservation on a somewhat last-minute notice...

On the bright [SUN] side, my wife and I are planning on driving the family car to the cg on Saturday. Just for a quick visit and to introduce myself. :) Hopefully I won't get shot for not having a pup with me, lol.

Today I received a little something from PopUp Steve: prizes for our rally!

So we're going to have a prize drawing, to be held Saturday night during the Dessert Potluck.

To win, you must show up and sign in at the rally prior to the potluck. You do not need to be present at the time to win.

We don't have to wait long now... and our trip starts tomorrow. Yay! We're heading out in the morning for Sun Lakes State Park, then over to Pot Holes State Park mid week - and ending up at Salmon La Sac. Gonna get a little sunshine! [:D]

For those of you that are microbrew fans, I will be bringing a growler of each. These are brewed with Montana grain in a great MT microbrewery...Bowser Brewing Co. in Great Falls.

btw, if you didn't know this, a growler is a half gallon glass jug.
