Just so far... Midwest Spring Rally at Hocking Hills in April, 3rd Annual MI Rally in June, the first or second weekend of August near Higgins Lake, the weekend after Labor Day at Tawas Point SP, a week on the Au Sable in early October and the Midwest Halloween Rally at Pokagon in late October. [:D]

We may consider checking out Wilson SP in early July and back to Higgins Lake for the Fireman's Memorial weekend in mid Sept. Of course we will have several weekends set up in Howell, either working on the pup or dog sitting if our friend goes out of town. For now....

We're making reservations tomorrow (Dec. 1) for Fort Pickens National Park at Pensacola Beach. We want the same site we had last June.

Right now we have 3 definite trips. March we are heading down to Disney's Fort Wilderness. The last weekend in June we are heading to Acadia National Park in Maine then had over to Vermont to visit family for the 4th of July, In August we will be heading to Twin Grove Campground for the 6th Annual Topless for TATAs Breast cancer offroading event at Rausch Creek.

We have a few other trips that are still in the planning stages right now, we know we want to get back to Shenandoah National park again this year either in the spring or fall.

What we have planned so far is Texas Rally in Feb, Mardi Gras in late Feb, and Tennessee in March (Nashville, Great Smokies, Memphis). I have a wedding to attend in March, so I'm looking forward to seeing all my in-laws (well, most).

We'll still prob be camping some more in December and January, but I don't have details worked out yet. Trying to get my DS fully licensed and insured so he can stay home and work without a chauffeur, and once he's set then we'll be able to make firm plans.

We made tentative plans for three trips this weekend, including our first reservation today, for a trip in May.

April: Chaco Canyon. We try to get out around our anniversary, and Chaco has been on the list for a long time. It is one place we can get to without taking a vacation day.

May: Ladies' trip - Chiricahua NM, in SE Arizona. It is close enough to Tucson that we won't spend all our time traveling (I have a full day on each end of the trip.) The Tucson DH may join us for the weekend, and so I will not have to drive my friend home, or have two vehicles for the entire trip.

We made reservations at South Rim of Grand Canyon for a few days, including Memorial Day. It isn't as remote as we like to camp for holidays, but DH will be in Phoenix that week for a conference. The only likely way for us to get the weekend is for me to get camp established, and pick him up on Friday - still a lot of driving, but doable. (While unlikely, he could drive to the conference, then up to Grand Canyon as an alternative.)

Went on the infamous recreation.gov and got our site for seven nights at Fort Pickens in June. [8D] Now we're scoping out the weather for Christmas break. Maybe we can get an Arkansas trip in without getting too cold.

Try Twin Lakes ACOE campground on Lake Hartwell near Clemson. We love it. I recommend sites 15, 16,17. 33-37 if you have kids

Only 1 tripped "planned" so far. A family get together at the coast in WA. The DW is looking for a new job and if she gets one, she will have to rebuild vacation time. So, I don't see any point in booking spots, just to (hopefully) cancel them later. I hate the thought of loosing out on good sites though by not booking early. [:(]
