Welcome Larry and Sylvia! So exciting to see the groups grow!

After a few really bad days, Nathan had a great day today and was even able to progress to eating solid foods. It's a good possibility his colon may have twisted back into place naturally without surgery, which means he could be back to 100% quickly. I'm still tentative, but the outlook is good. :) Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers!

Anybody interested in a $3 fishing tournament? For those who don't know, everyone who enters brings three $1 bills. Each dollar goes into 3 hats. One for the first fish, one for the biggest fish, and one for the most fish. Winner of each takes the total pot of bucks for that category. Always makes it good cheap fun! And the winners get to stake out a little loot!

I've got tons of poles. All for different fish. If anyone needs poles as well, let me know I have lots to go around!

Now I just have to reseal that dang oil cooler on my truck!

Not always. I recently bought an el cheapo car to commute in and keep some miles off the truck. As a result of sotting outinthis winter weather i had a few minor issues after starting it up once letting it sit for about 6 weeks.

The reseal kit is only about $35 so its really no biggie. Just that you can't expect perfection from a motor with 326k miles [LOL]

SHeesh. With mine, about to hit 200K, I get one leak fixed and another starts.

I'm game for the fishing game at the summer rally. I only have one kid size pole and an HEB bag with some tackle though lol

Wow ... and I'm worried about relying on our Jeep with 150,000 miles on it...

    Indy, ill say this much...

Its A LOT easier to maintain a vehicle than it is to fix one that's lived a life of neglect. Just ask Alex, he actually brought me his truck while he was in the DFW area and I did some work on his truck while he went on vacation.

I bought my truck happily with high expectations for reliability at 297, 000 miles on her. In my case "Mama Cass" is still alive! [:D]

Ginger, the lady at L.L.M&CG, said it is best to call them for directions....I think the road names have changed a bit. We will driving from hwy 79 towards Jewett and exit onto FM.1512 and look for LCR( Limestone County Road) ____. If all else fails we will call the campsite. Txbum

    Hello Everyone !

I haven't been here in awhile.

We ...3 adults....twins (7 months) & Tony (celebrating his 5th birthday on Feb 14 Friday) are still preparing & planning on going unless there is an unexpected cold front that comes through.

We hope to bring a small pinata & a spiderman cake to share.

Is ANYONE planning on being there on Thursday??????

Skeeter...if it's not too late I'd like to check that leveler out.

    We'll see everyone there
