Thanks for the info on the falls. Perhaps a group hike of those interested can be planned, I'd go.

For those interested in more level walking trails, There are 2 rail to trail hikes along both the East River and Winhall Brook right in the campground.

    Hi Everyone,

Just finishing up all the info for the "Official" status to move us to the rally boards.

Can everyone who has made a reservation please reply with the number of adults, children and dogs, cats and/or wolverines along with their site#.

Thanks in advance and happy camping!

If you have not made your reservation yet, what are you waiting for?

Looking at trying to get there for this one, DW just was told she has to take a week of vacation that week. Sites we are looking at in order to stay near group is N25, 29, 31, 32, 33 Keep in mind we have the hybrid. I left N15 off the list since it said N16 (Pixel) would be accessing their site via N15. So for you folks that have been there let me know which you think is best as far as level and site size (ie not close to neighbors)

    Davylee,

Just wondering if you looked at each site on the website and clicked on the pic in the detail tab?
Each pic show the site very nicely. N33 to N29 have very nice views in a open grassy sloping field.
Leveling is pretty minor, but some will need to be done.
I like the open area for late September in case it gets too cool, you can still get some sun warmth.
It's worth it for the view.
The more private sites along the river are already taken.
N33 to N29 I believe all have a river view over the top of N34,N35 and N36.

We are in! Given our fondness for electric blankets and other amenities, we are in site S21 down at the other end. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I should note, 2 adults for sure. We aren't sure about DS as he will be in college and working as well at that point.

The plan at the moment is for my wife and I, along with our two dogs, to stay at site N14. However, there is a chance I may need to attend a reunion further North that weekend, so may need to cancel my rally plan (which i would HATE to do; i had so much fun late year!).

In addition to our regular potluck "Feast of Friends" meal , is there any interest in a Chili Cook-Off?
Those interested can make a pot of Chili which will be sampled by everyone at the rally to enjoy.

Hopefully the picnic pavilion will be available for us again this year, that was the perfect spot last year!
