Got 'er hitched up. My dad gave me this super adjustable ball thing rated for something like 8,000 pound trailers. At least I tested that I can back up to it by myself in under 10 minutes...not bad for a first timer. Gonna drop it and go buy another ball with a smaller overall footprint (and not so rusty) later today or tomorrow. Tested lights and stuff work...something I should have thought about BEFORE 2 days away from camp day...but at least nothing is wrong there. Getting CLOSE. Last night, Laura and I sat out on the porch until 11pm making our packing list and last minute things to get at the dollar store (hand soap, bandaids, etc) that are just part of outfitting the camper for a summer full of goodness. We're very excited for our first non-driveway camp! Even my little guy (3.5) keeps asking when we get to go to the campground and proudly tells everyone how much he loves camping...even if he's spent 1 night in the front yard.
