2016 Maryland Rally

Unfortunately, I can't afford to be a snowbird--although THAT would be great.

While camping in September, I decided that a Popup was a good alternative to sleeping in my backpacking tent. So I bought a used trailer on Kijiji and have booked 1 CAN and 5 US Popup rallies for this year. I'm was hoping for more rallies in my area, but I can't find another that I can fit in. Perhaps I can return from a US rally via the Maritimes and attend a rally there.

It is a bit of a difference from a backpacking tent. I still have my backpacking tent, have not used it in many a year. Sold my pack, as I am not planning on doing anymore backpacking but still have most of the equipment. I think my kids may take some of it as they still have their packs.

I would love a look-see at your pup when you get down here if you are willing to show her off. Love to see other people's handy work.

 

I'm looking forward to being up off the ground. It's much easier to "roll out" of bed--especially on those cold mornings!.
Would love to share the results of my reno with you. Just hoping that my execution matches my vision!

Well, I'm a bit bummed....we have to back out of this rally because of a wedding.

Let me just vent here a bit, please....UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've had this site reserved since DECEMBER. I was really looking forward to this and seeing everyone again.

But, we have to keep nice with long time friends, right? Their friendship makes this decision a no-brainer, but I'm frustrated. I was looking forward to catching up with Michoshisho and her help with LadyBug last year. By the way, thanks again Michelle!

And I was looking forward to showing JeepMama the awning, and how grateful I am that she gave it to me. Thanks Wendy!

Awww man! I am sorry that you won't be able to come to the rally Charmaine. I'd love to see a picture of your awning. I am glad to know you were able to take that discarded and messed up awning and turn it in to something usable.

I will be releasing my reservation for site 25 today. I hope it gets filled with another PUP member...or perhaps someone who will be a new member

Okay folks, the deed is done. Site 25 is very close to the bathrooms, by the way.

 

Someone posted the full service loop is booked up. I looked today and there was ONE site left...25.

My camper was delivered yesterday (woot!) but...I dont know if I'll have my TV ready quite yet.

I'm hesitant to spend the money and book the site "just in case...", but I've got an itchy trigger finger.
