My ez up flipped over and took off last week during the high winds. Does anyone have one they can bring for the potluck dinner?

I hope you guys have a blast. It looks like The Weeknd is going to be perfect. Could I inconvenience someone to take me a few good pictures of 124 + 132? We're stopping over there on our way to Vermont in September, and right now I have both of those sites sreserved and need to cancel one. I can't make up my mind as usual. Thanks in advance.

That would not of happened if you had your big white horse hitched to it.

Old_Geezer, I have stayed on 132 once, & would prefer not to do it again. It's a nice site, somewhat private. The walk in tent sites are below & behind you. However, the downward incline of the driveway can make unhitching a longer trailer/ truck combo a bit difficult. Since the back of the site drops off (no tire stop either), we had to position the trailer so we could could still get enough footing to close up our back bunk. We were back so far that we could not walk around the back of the trailer without holding on & the bed hung out over the hill. But, even with that, due to the length of our hybrid, 25'1 closed, our F150 supercab was on the driveway at an upward angle while the trailer was on level ground, making the uncoupling not so smooth. The next yr a popup/minivan combo was on the site with no problems. Last yr, a larger hybrid/SUV setup had the site & experienced the same issue as we did.

As for 124, I have not camped on that one. In my notes, I did jot down that it is open, without shade.

    I hope this info helps.

We finally got home around 1830. What a great weekend! I'm so thankful we were able to make it. See you all again soon.

The rally was a big success! I would like to thank everyone that came out, and Davylee for all his help, and harassment. My girls are already telling me we should have this again next year. I definitely plan on hosting it again next year, and hopefully we can get more people, and grow this into a nice annual event. With the exception of rain on Thursday, the weather was awesome, and the park was beautiful. We had some great food at the potluck, and great people to share it with. I hope everyone made it home safely.

Here are some pictures I took. If anyone else has some, please post them.

Looks like it was a lot of fun, now I'm even more bummed that we couldn't go. Maybe I should just go "Office Space" on my work :) .

Glad you all had a great time, and you can count on us to be there next year!

Thanks, Shelmily for putting this rally together. We are so happy to have made it! Carter is asking to go back today, he had so much fun with all of the kids! Also, as most everyone probably heard, the glowing balloon is something he "wants to keep forever", and now has it on his dresser to look at.

Those were awesome weren't they. The girls still have the ones from the first night, and the light is still glowing, although it is dimming. We will make sure to bring some for Vermont too.

Thanks to Everyone--especially Shelmily--for a great rally! Left just before 7:30, arrived home just after 6pm Had two stops for heavy downpours about 1 1/ hours from home, but clear sailing the rest of the way! (And, yes, they let me back into the country!)
