we will be there!!
We switched out the reserved site for other available sites many times when we arived at the CG. No issues, no fee.
I know it doesn't apply to the rally, but I've been hitting the parks the past few weeks and those reserved sites are frustrating, especially the local ones that are always 'booked'.
I have attended in the past without reservations and was only 5 sites away from all the action. Will repeat again this year if humidity is gone. They will let you choose your site anywhere they are available...........its about time to start listing the Saturday evening meal and what everyone is pitching in...... where is the pitch in list at.?????
Ohio Parks are usually pretty good with allowing you to switch either via the ressie system or when you arrive at the park (assuming the site you want is open).
For those of you who have not made ressies yet, still plenty of room and available sites!
@MickeyRV -- Totally understand about the humidity, this past weekend was brutal at the Sugarloaf campground....93%. Hopefully by late September we will be done battling the humidity.
Lance, I've been trying to clear the weekend at Indian Lake since Pymatuning but it's just not going to happen this year. With sadness, Barry.
Awe....Barry that bites....but know you did your best. Thanks for letting me know.
Hi Everyone! Greetings from Northern NY!
We are about a month out from the rally.....Getting excited to see everyone. Figured we would do the typical rally, Friday night do a meet and greet between our sites and then Saturday do a potluck.
If you know what your bringing for the potluck please post it here and I will consolidate the list! I have no idea what I'm bringing yet.
Mom agreed to go camping with me. So do I want B34,39,54 or 55? Is the restroom near B34 like the map shows? Is it a fully handicap accessible ? Or am I going to want to be closer to the shower house?
I would say to be closer to the showerhouse. The shower house will be new this year, opening the weekend before the rally. If they didn't touch the bathrooms, then I don't believe they are accessible.
ok thanks...with that advice we took B039
Awesome! Welcome aboard! Will be great to see you and mom again. At least with Indian lake, no hills to contend with like Holly!
You can mark us down for sweedish meatballs.

We're still working out what our main contribution to the potluck, Crystal is planning on probably doing a fruit salad, but that's subject to change.
I'll be doing up some home-made salsa, or more accurately, pico de gallo and chips.

Homemade salsa sounds delish.

Hello! My wife and I recently reserved site 38 for the Ohio Fall Rally. New to this type of thing, but looking forward to meeting some like-minded campers. We have a 97 Coleman Taos (just the 2 of us with the occasional granddaughter) that we got off Craigs list last year. Just purchased a 2014 Ford Escape as a TV. Weve been using this incredible website as a knowledge resource, but now are interested in using it as a social resource as well.
What can we bring?
Ferd and Janet
