Just want to know and get a feel for how far would you drive for a Thanksgiving camping Gathering next year?

I have selected an assortment of Provincial Parks based on them being open, site availability, popularity (the more popular the park the less time for booking when the window opens and less site selection), location and travel distance (mainly mine). I realize that some years some members won't drive as far or show up based on location and that is fine. Here are the Provincial Parks I am thinking about heading to in the next couple years..

    Earl Rowe
    Inverhuron
    Craigleith
    Balsam
    Arrowhead
    Bronte
    Sibbald
    Oastler
    Grundy
    Darlington

Darlington Is convenient for anyone leaving near the 401 corridor

    Nice park and good facilities

Large lots and not very busy at that time of the year

We've never been to Darlington but I'm willing to give it a shot! I've heard it's nice!
We regularly travel to Balsam (very busy park) and Arrowhead and would have no hesitations about most of those. Not sure where Bronte is.....
Grundy is getting up there for time....maybe not. I may be thinking of Fairbanks.

Leaning towards Earl Rowe for Thanksgiving 2016 ... Pretty Central for most in the Provence .. Like Arrowhead, there is a town 5 minutes away from the gate house incase something is forgotten or needed...

Located in the Burlington/Oakville area.. Decent park for a quick weekend getaway or for exploring the region..

Grundy is North on Hwy. 69/400 extension North of Parry Sound.. Think it will be removed from the list, just because of how early it gets dark at night, how far North it is (be pushing a 4-5 hour drive for us).. unless we could leave around noon on the Friday to head up..
