Hi Joe. Nice to see you on here again.
Do you have a link for the fish creek info? I can't find anything on it.

Ryan sats we have to nail this thing down if it's going to happen. Here are the 4 choices:
    Bow Willows
    Oak Grove
    Blair Valley (Boondocking)
Palomar (not sure if Sue's still available)

    Who's in?

I'm in and vote for Blair Valley (and those that join to use their generators sparingly in the groups site/area)

There are a couple RV parks in that area for anyone that prefers hook ups (Butterfield Ranch Resort) or need some supplies/ice cream, then just drive over to Blair Valley for the pot luck.

Great, let's give it another couple days for feedback and then make a final decision. I vote for BV as well.

it's a long way from nor-cal. but it looks interesting
    would also vote blair valley.
am new to the pop up scene, and would really like to try something like this...and meet some of my fellow campers.
don't know if I can make it yet, but it looks promising

If you can, it is quite a trek, from just N of SAC (ask 94-D2)...Anza-Borrego is another very unique environment.

Ok, we're in too. ^^^ what he said ^^^ 2 adults, so far.

I think it will be challenging enough just pulling a popup to the primitive camp, it's a little over a mile off the paved road.

Does anyone realize that this rally is working off of two threads? This is a bit confusing since different people are all going to the same place in two different similar threads. Who ever is wagon master of this gig should straighten it out so we are all on the same page. Is it dispurssed camping with limitless space? What are the actual dates. And location? Anyone doing a potluck. Or am I just behind the curve here.

Just confusing. I am going to try and make this 500 mile trip. But I really need to know where and when I'm going and if there will be a place to actually set up if it do. Someone needs to post info close to what a rally board used to be if this happening......

Gardenbliss/Robin is the WM, (I am a scout) she was waiting for people to vote on the location, there was confusion about fish creek being closed, that was the wrong fish creek...

It will be at Fish Creek Wash in the Anza Borrego Desert, it is dispersed camping in the AB Desert, the actual Fish Creek CG only has 6 sites, but it is unlimited for capacity. Robin will post the actual GPS coordinates of where the Rally will be held.

Thanks Ryan. It would be cool if we were able to get back rally boards. It would at least reduce redundancy and clean up some chaos, for me anyway.

When I sent Steve the spreadsheet for the Carrizo Rally, it sounded like he was going to start them back up. That's why I have waited to start the pot luck thread and such...

Robin will start an official rally thread and post links here and to the poll.
