Two adults (Paul & Pam) arriving Friday evening and leaving Monday. Not sure what we will contribute to the pot luck. I am thinking assorted beverages as in the past.

My Daughter and Grandson may join us Saturday. She has a NTH Coleman Columbia and has been itching to get out with it.

Looking forward to seeing you all again

    k it's a go.
DW can't get off work, so myself and a buddy are gonna make an eastern sierra trip down with a couple of camp stops on the way.
plan to be there fri. before noon hopefully.
I assume the potluck is sat. night, correct me if I'm wrong.
think I'm gonna go with fajita's, followed by Dutch oven pineapple upside down cake.

Here I am, and yes, I'll be arriving around noon. I'm bringing PUC to trailer supply store to fix my fridge on Thursday but they promised they'd be done by Fri for the camping trip. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there and exploring the wind caves.

I'm getting super excited to explore this area. Check out this web page:

    http://www.desertusa.com/dusablog/day-trip-1-the-wind-caves-at-anza-borrego-desert-state-park

Trailhead address: Fish Creek Wash, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Borrego Springs, CA 92004
    Trailhead coordinates: 32.991103, -116.112556 (32° 59′ 27.97″N 116° 06′ 45.20″W)

I believe the 6 established campsites have a fire pit, but by chance, does anyone coming have a portable fidelity they can bring?

Also, be sure to bring wind breakers and protective eye wear. As the name implies, the wind caves can get rather windy. Also, some clothes for all seasons as the temps should reach the high 80's in the daytime and the mid 50's at night, according to the Anza Borrego weather site. There is a lot of info online about the area and hiking trails (as well as youtube video's if you want a preview).

We're making a Hungarian sausage stew (Kolbasz Paprikash) for the potluck. Mildly spicy. See you tomorrow!

Any one besides me bringing kids along?

I haven't had time to take the little ones to the pumpkin patch so I'm thinking about taking a couple pumpkins so they can carve out by the campfire [CF]

No kids coming with us this trip.
We're packed up, hooked up and ready to go. We'll be hitting the road about 5:00. Hopefully we'll get there around 1:00 or so. By the way, we're making mini white cheddar burgers for the pot luck.
    See you all soon
