Sounds good! Unsure if we are able to make it this year, but will be trying! Last years was great!

I figured to swing by on this one, thinking it was going to be at Arrowhead again. Now that its somewhere else, I'm not so sure it will work, [:(]

    Earl Rowe Provincial Park

    Location: Alliston, Ontario

Earl Rowe Provincial Park is located on the Boyne River in a scenic river valley.
The park has 400 campsites and is open from May to mid-October.
Canoe and paddleboat (pedal boat) rentals are available at the Park Store.

    Information
Located in a river valley in the middle of typical south-central Ontario countryside, the park includes a variety of valley landforms created by the meandering Boyne River.

You can find more than 100 species of bird in the park, including the ruby-throated hummingbird, yellow warbler, and purple finch. You can also find other wildlife including squirrels, rabbits, beaver, fox, turtles and frogs.

Earl Rowe has a total of 400 campsites located in two different campground areas: Riverside Campgrounds (Salmon Run Campground, Rabbit Loop Campground, Blue Heron Campground, Heydon Way Campground) and West Side Campgrounds (Fletcher Field Campground, Boyne Meadow Campground, Trillium Woods Campground, Meadowbrook Campground). Most sites have shade and 183 have electrical service.

The Park Store is located on the east side of the lake, near the beach. The store offers sundry items, groceries, ice cream, camping supplies and Ontario Parks souvenir merchandise and rental items. On the west side of the lake, a small concession is located near the entrance to the pool, offering most of the above items.

Canoes, paddleboats are available for rent at the Park Store. For a $25 refundable deposit, visitors can borrow a properly fitted PFD (personal floatation device). Staff can outfit visitors with a PFD at the pool and Resource Center.

It was great last year, days were pretty warm and well at night it was warm around the fire.. Not sure of what the canvas sided folks did but we only used the furnace a bit thru the nights..

Arrowhead last year was quite warm during the days and not so warm at night but once the furnace warmed the trailer (even us with canvas sides) we were toasty warm. You can ask Greg how chilly it was when he got up to make coffee in the mornings....
