Arrived 8:45 pm last night. Garmin took me ALL over the map [}:)] 10 1/2 hr trip ( allowing lots of time for stops) took 12 hrs. Thanks go to Mike, Peggy, Emily and Shelby helped me set up in the dark. [:D] The view down the river was a welcome sight this morning!

Looking forward to camping but it's going to be a cooooooold weekend in the Levin's Roo. Tested out the furnace and I've blown 5 fuses trying to figure out the problem. I'm convinced there is a problem somewhere in the wiring or on the furnace end. Welcome to help or extra blankets.

It it appears we'll be unable to make it, and I was really looking forward to camping in Vermont again.

My son has come to stay with us for a few weeks for health reasons and will need constant care. Unfortunately he'll be unable to travel, so we need to stay home with him. I've actually know about this for a few weeks now but wasn't sure exactly when he'd be coming, but he's home now. And since family comes first for us the Rally is canceled.

We wish you all a wonderful weekend, enjoy all it has to offer.

    No worries Todd, totally understandable.

Stephie, sounds like you have a chaffed wire that is shorting out. Does the blower come on
at all or does it blow the fuse as soon as you turn on the thermostat

Bringing a quest who is planning to make her granddad's recipe chili. I've had some before, it's very good, and i usually don't like chili. Most chili is too hot for me , her's is mild. DW is making cornbread muffins to go with everyone's chili. To save gas since I'm in the electric loop, I bought a "Tabletop" electric fireplace /heater. Tried out last night...looks good. Now I got a fireplace like those big "fancian" 5th wheels and diesel pushers [LOL], only its 13" long and 10" high.

Access the furnace wiring and disconnect the plus wire. See if a fuse holds. If so, examine all the wiring on the furnace. If not, the problem is likely not your furnace.

I know I probably come across like I know what I'm doing, but I don't. [LOL] Our furnace is located under our dinette and from what I can see, wiring looks fine but I have no idea where to disconnect wires other than the ones that come into the thermostat and I would know which is which other than knowing that the colors need to match.

I've resigned to the fact that we will be sleeping with lots of blankets this weekend and will just have the dealership look at it when we bring it to them for winterizing. Unless someone is feeling ambitious this weekend and looking to do some electrical work. [;)]

I could take a look but I'm not prepared to rip things apart with limited tools. If you have an electric site get a cheap heater from Wal-Mart.

stefie, are you camping in the electric loop? If so, bring a small electric heater.

Do you have an access panel on the outside of the camper? My 2012 Keystone does not, and I had to pull the whole furnace to access some of the connections. I can take a quick look at it depending on what time we get there Friday, maybe we'll find a loose connection in there. We'll be in the field, N31 I believe.

We moved our site to N32 since we're now longer with the truck. We do not have an access panel on the outside of the camper either. Since we're neighbors [:D] I'd love the help and the lesson on what I should look for. I'll pick up more 2 amp fuses for my thermostat too. :)
