;)No Deb does not KNOW about Dave volunteering. Thank God he didn't say "we" would be doing it. Cool while he's busy on Friday I'll take the truck and go places and shop or walk on a beach some where. :p

We are just getting ready to pull out (if I can get Emily moving faster). We should be there somewhere around 4pm. Everyone have a safe trip, and we will see you there.

Maybe Dave should change his nick to "Nannylee". [:D]

Safe travels to all of you and have a great time!

Can't wait to see everyone, wish we were coming up tonight. We leave tomorrow by 11am to be at the gate by 2pm. No bikes, no phones, so the boys should be thoroughly bored by 2:05. Have Farkle ready, Jake learned how to play.

Safe travels everyone, we will hit the road after I get home from work. Should be there around 6:00. It will be just me tonight and tomorrow because Dave has to work, so he'll head home around 8 or so with Gunner. Stefie I've got games in the camper to, should the boys get really hard up for something to do. Mike, see you guys tonight. :)

I am so jealous! I am absolutely not going to work on any theatre productions next summer. I could have gone directly to Maine from the Aliner Rally in Champion PA with a stopover. I would have been there this afternoon with backing-in scorecards in hand!

    Dave (a.k.a. Nannylee--good one, Josh!:p):
Re my 'free' lobster: Be sure you select a prime lobster for Steph.

    FYI, I like extra butter...[:)O]

    I already miss you all!

Well, thanks to Shelmily's trip taking so long due to traffic he arrived at the same time as I did last night. And while I hate to admit it [;{}], he did an awesome job of backing in and I would have to give him a 9.5 deducting .5 just because I can LOL I am trying to change the pot luck location to the recreation hall for Saturday night. I will let everyone know in person and on here when I get approval from the campground to use it.
And nannyDave is not nannying anyone or kid watching anyone [{:)]

We are on our way. I'll let Jeff tell you all about the SPUTs we(I) made this morning.

I'm sure Jeff would clarify the whole "we" or "I" part of that. Too bad he won't be there to defend himself.

Uh-oh, .... You guys weren't kidding about judging back-in skills. Given that I have a trailer with low level of difficulty (not a high-wall, only 8 ft. box) I'll need to be near perfect.
I did stop in my local Horror Fright yesterday and bought a pair of those magnet mounted car antena with yellow balls. With one on the PUP's back bumper that should be an added aid in knowing where the tail is wandering when backing.

Still finishing packing, food prep is in progress, but expect to be on the road to arrive early afternoon.

Brilliant idea! I use them for hooking up, but never for backing up the trailer. Will definitely try this. Thanks!

Davylee helped guide me back. I'm sure he deducted points for that.

You can count on it! :p
However, last year he gave me an extra 1/2 point because Sharon was directing me to back up. In hindsight--and he probably would agree--he should have given me at least an extra 1 1/2 points!
It should also be noted that Dave has given himself the authority to rescind points if you shine your headlights into his trailer after he and Deb have retired for the night--regardless if it is because your mechanic reset your system at your recent oil change! You will find that site 24 is a prime location for this. You may hear the phrase "Really (insert your name here)" resonnating from his trailer. ;)
