As usual, a great Maine rally. Thank you Dave and Deb for hosting again this year. Can't wait to see everyone in VT!

I got home at noon. Waaaay earlier than I expected. Only slow down was a rubber-necker backup.
    Smooth sailing.
Thanks, Dave and Deb. Had a great time!
Can't wait to see all y'all in Vermont!

We got home about an hour ago, just after 3pm. Stopped for a quick bite to eat and hit some traffic getting on to 290 and then again on the MassPike, which we expected. Not bad though.

Oh good. I was dreading the traffic.

It was great to meet everyone and to put faces to the screen names. I'll now be able to 'read' your posts and apply your own speech idiosyncracies (accent, intonation and inflections, timing and rate) to them so that I can 'hear' the messages as you'd speak them.
Got home in the GPS estimated 2 hrs., including fueling, which was far better than the 3+ on the way up. I set up in the driveway to unpack and clean-up.
As I'm looking at the faded, missing letter, model name on the side, I saw something different than what it originally spelled.
The model in Meteorite, but I saw "Mediocrity". Appropriate, I guess.
I made a few more modifications today in preparation for my (solo) trip in 2 weeks.
Now it's all closed up again due to weather forecast for tomorrow.

Thank you Dave and Deb for another great Maine rally! The weather turned out awesome despite the forecast (stupid meteorologists). It was great to see everyone again, and meet some new friends. Pat we missed you for sure! I hope we can lay to rest my backing skills now (STEPH!) and OG, it was full hookups, so no memory needed this trip. Tune in at the end of September for more opportunities. [LOL][LOL] We had a pretty good trip back home too. It only took us 7 1/2 hours this time. Other than an accident on 95 in Mass, and a small traffic jam getting on 84, it was smooth sailing. We had a great time, and I have been told we are going back next year with or without a rally! But for now I am home, and counting the days until Vermont. See everyone there.

We are glad everyone had a good time. After some discussion, we will try to do another Maine Rally next year. Stay tuned. Lugnut it was great to meet you and your wife, hope to see you at future rallies. For those who weren't there Josh Pat and Scott you missed a good time. See most of you in Vermont

And glad everyone was able to get home safe and sound.

I'm glad it was a great time for you all. I haven't made it back to Maine this summer, so I was really bummed I couldn't work it in. Hopefully next year we'll make it happen!

    See you in VT!

Thanks Dave&Deb for a great Rally! We unfortunately did not make any great time. Char's anxiety was in high gear so 95 was ixnayed and after going overland to the New York through way we made it about 2 miles before i had to get off that road as well. good news the Catskills and Pocono's were very scenic bad news 14 hr. drive. not holding out much hope for Vermont.[:(] but we'll see.

I suspect all would have gone smoothly had you been wearing this.

Lorazepam. Get some. I took 1 of the lowest dose on my 6 hour coach flight to France in a center seat. A relaxing trip IIRC.
A pair of benadryls aught to do the trick too. Load up and get to VT. Her doc should be able to help with something in a pinch.

Maybe you're just a terrifyingly crap driver?

I'm guessing we could spot the mushroom cloud when his Ranger's engine signs off.

The funny thing is... He could probably hold the pedal on the floor the entire time and would make it there and back.
