The elk photo was taken in Benezette, Pennsylvania. I have a couple of secret spots out that way where I go to camp. Here's another photo shot when I was there for my camera club picnic in September.

That photo was taken two weekends ago - the first weekend in December. Overnight temps got down to 22 degrees. Temperature in the shelter with three people was probably 35-38 degrees. I slept in Duofold thermals, fleece sleep pants, a Champion hoodie and Smart Wool socks inside a 20 degree North Face sleeping bag. I was plenty toasty.

First..... you have to have your photos on a hosting site like Flickr or Google Photos. Click on the little camera icon up there in the header, then copy and paste the link for your pictures in the box.

You just need to hit the "upload a File" button - at right, and add a picture file you want......

I would have thought with a fire and side wind breaks it would get much warmer.
