I'm giving this a bump, just so folks know that the link for the facility still works.

So far, you're in 19 and I'm in 20. Hoomi hasn't said if they are reserving a site or doing FCFS. I assume they're planning on coming. If he doesn't comment before the April AZ Rally, I'll try to remember to ask about the Quad-State Rally.
Just under three months to Pine Lake.

We're trying to set this up. Unfortunately, what we forgot is that the weekend before the Pageant in Manti, is the dress rehearsal weekend, and the nicest camping location close to where my in-laws live is already all but booked up, meaning it's going to be crowded and noisy. We're looking at other options, but anything close to Manti the weekend of June 10th is guaranteed to be anything but a nice relaxing weekend.

We managed to get a decent spot at Palisade State Park, staying Sunday afternoon through Wednesday morning. We're going to stay two nights in Williams, AZ, on the way up, and we're looking at a park just outside of Capitol Reef National Park for Wednesday and Thursday nights. Still debating whether to make a long run from Pine Lake to home on Sunday, or whether to find someplace to stop for the night Sunday night, and take that Monday off as well.

I still need to make my overnight reservation for the trip home from this Rally. I'll stop at the KOA Sunday night, too far from Pine Lake to ABQ, especially solo. I am going to camp at Bonito, just outside Sunset Crater NM, on the way to the Rally, mid-week should be fine for that FCFS campground.

Is it still just the three of us?

Maybe edit the topic title to include the location?

Still just the three of us. If we can't edit the topic title, maybe start a more specific thread with the location in the title?

ETA: I found the new thread, thanks for starting it.

Looks like this is a long drive from Phoenix. The DW won't let me go solo because of health issue I had. I might try to convince her let me go myself.

What I have been mapping out is doing the long hauls in 4 hr segments.

Stopping in rest stops get some rest and nutrients for 4 hrs. then moving on.
Most rest stops will allow 12-24 hr. stops (no tent).

This will allow me to not have to do 6-10 hr. runs and not have to unhitch.
