With the thunderstorms forecast for today, we will be leaving early Saturday morning. We will be arriving at the campground between 8 to 9 AM. See you Saturday morning!

Not only is the entire length of my trip to up there under severe weather alerts, but I also got up this morning with sore throat. I will try to come up and see you Saturday morning. But I can't be camping in the rain if I'm not well.

Glad you are enjoying yourselves. It just seems I would be smack in the middle of the severe weather driving up, followed by a very rainy night (with a sore throat). They are having 2-4 inches of rain in Ocala area, already.

Hey tzmartin and Orchid: We just sent you a PM with our phone number in case you're interested in meeting up for dinner in Fernandina Beach. We're going to wait until Saturday morning to set up at our campsite, but we're close by!

I appreciate all the enthusiasm. Please be prepared for possibly severe thunderstorms Friday evening/night, though, 2-4 inches of heavy rain is possible. I JUST finished re-installing my Fantastic Fan. Still not sure if my camper is water-tight yet; possibly a center seam issue going on as well. A work meeting until 2Pm friday puts me driving up in the middle of the stuff, oh joy. Considering options: (1) Could tow popup into site, tarp it, sleep in tow vehicle (it's plenty big enough) Friday with the dogs then popup Sat AM. OR (2) depending how bad it looks, drive up Saturday morning with pre-cooked GB casserole. I'm not a morning person, so not overly thrilled about option 2.
Well it is Florida, so expected the unexpected, as weather goes.

We loved meeting all of you and hope to get a chance to meet JAXPOPPER and Orchid at a future rally. A special thank you to our Wagon Master for getting this together, the fantastic pancake breakfast and the great rally gift! Looking forward to the next rally.
