Any pics? This one was really close to me (~50 miles) but I didn't have a popup ready to camp in yet.

We love Croft... Spring Crappie fish
I liked the park, but the sites seemed a little small and packed together (a lot of them). The sites on the lake side were pretty small and a lot of them had steep drop-offs on them. The boat ramp would have to be a drive to deal (with kayaks) - pretty good walk even from the lake side campground.I don't know what was going on the weekend we rode through, but it was definitely a popular place! We will probably try this park out on the off season.

everything is better around a campfire.

That would be 5/17/19-5/19/19. Is there a particular area everyone tries to stay in? I'll have to check work, church, scouts, and DW's calendars and see if I'm free that weekend. A lot of the sites list max 20' length on RV. Our PUP is nearly 23' when open, but I've put it on 20' sites before by hanging the rear bunk over the end of the pad. I'd just hate to get there and find a tree at the end of the pad limiting it to 20'.

What part of the park do the frequent attendees recommend for camp sites?
X2. Looking for same information. Looking at the Kings Mountain Park campground map, there is a big loop on top (24-76), a middle loop (78-82, 110-115), large loop on bottom (83-110), and a small loop on right (10-23).

New to the area and looking to book tomorrow. I have a FL rallies under my belt but it has been a couple of years. Look forward to smoking some meat and meeting you all!

Anyone with kids?

Make plans to join in the fun, the weekend of May 18-20 at Kings Mountain State Park, Blacksburg, SC. This will again be a multi forum gathering, with a group meal around 5pm Saturday afternoon, along sites 42-45. The highlight of the afternoon is the low country boil and dutch oven foods being prepared and served. Bring your own chairs,coolers/drinks, and join in the new and renewed friendships around the fryers and iron pots. Reservations throughout the campground, but many will be in loop 2.

I recently relocated to NC and see this rally is about 70 miles from me! I miss portal rallies! I am going to try very hard to make this!!!
