Hi All - bad news, we're not going to be able to make it, I've developed either the flu or some sort of nasty stomach bug. Of all the weekends for this to happen!!!![:(][PP]

We were really looking forward to this too, was going to be the last trip of the year for us. working on our schedule for next year (already have a trip to Tidewater VA in mid-May) so hopefully we'll catch you at a rally or two next year, since we're going to have the entire winter to plan with the current RV. Have fun all and eat some extra chili for us! - M&P

Sorry to hear that NHpopper. Feel better.
5 minutes into my ride and I'm stopped on the mass pike. Westbound lanes are stopped due to a accident and I haven't moved in 30 minutes. I should be by the NY/VT border by now.
    Very Frustrating!

Hang in there Chris. You'll get there when you get there. I think i might have passed you around Townshend. I'm headed back to Massachusetts for my son!

A fantastic weekend as usual in VT. Thank you Chris for hosting yet again! It was an uneventful ride home this morning so that's always nice.

If anyone is already wishing they were camping again...

We are reserved at the end of October at Fishermen's if anyone's interested in joining us. We're on site 21.
    RI Winterizing Rally

And I've started a poll for which weekend works best for the 2019 "Not A Rally" at Schodack Island.

    Why didn't you make chili?
I heard you would be hard to beat.

Thank you Chris for finding us such a beautiful spot and for arranging for such nice weather. Now that's a rally master! ;)

The food and beer was great and the company was even better. It will be hard settling in for winter away from my camping family! Time to start dreaming about next season.

Once again a great end-of-season trip with my US camping family. Thanks, Chris!
Schodack Not-a-Rally can’t come soon enough for me! Yes, Steph, I’ll go vote on your new thread.

Sharon and I arrived safely at our campsite in NY. Heading home tomorrow. Should be home by 5pm.

Hugs and safe travels to all.

It was great to see everyone again and meet some new faces. I always look forward to this rally, but I always leave a little sad knowing the camper will be winterized within a few weeks time. I wonder if it's any warmer in Uranus....

Anyway, take care everyone and I hope to make it to one of the spring rallies next year!

Might need to see a doctor about that Josh!

Hey are you guys near Jay Peak? We're up there in January.

It was great meeting you. We never did come see your camper. Next time. .

Thanks Chris for another great rally. We made it home yesterday in just under 7 hours. Don't ever stop at the Burger King at the rest stop on 87 south of Albany. OMG are they slow.
It was great seeing everyone again. We had a wonderful time as usual. I agree with Josh, this one is always bitter sweet. We are done for this year, so I will have to wait until Schodack to see you all again. I hate winter :(

Rained alll last night and into this morning, so we started out later than we had planned this morning. Dropped Sharon off at her place at 5pm today. Just over 7 hours from Lowville NY.
@mike...Winter is coming...and I’m not terribly fond of it either...:(

Had a great time at the rally, thanks.

Got out of the campground late on Sunday and only made it back to the PA border by dark so I did a car-camp at the PA welcome center. Then I stopped at Bushkill Falls in the Delaware Water Gap.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Katie has a tourney there at the same time? You better wear your kitty jammies to the rink just in case, so I can pick you out of the crowd. :p

Glad everyone made it home safely and enjoyed the rally. Another great weekend with friends, food and beer. I want to see more Chili entries next year!
For next year I was wondering if we should move the rally up a week to the first weekend in October? I know it varies every year but I think it would be closer to peak foliage.
Thoughts on Sept.27 weekend or the weekend October 4th?

I'd be fine with the later date.
