I got back from my annual clam steam weekend. Up to Ticonderoga, NY (or near enough) on Wed and back yesterday. Long trip but I always look forward to it.
Officially, I am making a tatertot breakfast casserole for Friday AM. This is not to be confused with a promised hash brown casserole. Which I will enjoy comparing and contrasting. Emily is still considering a hot dish for the pot luck. Although I think she's hot dish enough.
I'll see if she can come up with a more solid answer. Her initial idea was a crock-pot chocolate cake. I had to break the news that there was already a chocolate cake. :(
EDIT: Tried out the new mattress. We love it!

    YOU are a keeper!
I’m sure that the others—especially Mel, who is bringing her chocolate cake—will agreed that you can never have too much chocolate cake! :D

Interesting. I just checked out Ticonderoga on the google maps, and its no where that I remember it to be. I used to take the family over to the Waterloo outlet mall just west of Syracuse. I would drop them all off there and go cruising, usually winding up at the Bass Pro in Auburn. There is also a Riding Lawnmower wrecking yard right on the edge of Montezuma's Wildlife reserve over there. I got lots of parts from that old guy over the years, but last time I saw him, about 5-6 years ago, his health was failing. I bet its all closed up by now and bull dozered over. That guy had about 10 acres of riding lawnmowers and snowblowers, all for parts, pick your own. We have nothing like that around here. I'm sure I used to pass a sign there that said Ticonderoga, but I've never been that far east down there to see it way over by Vermont. Makes me scratch my head as to what I'm remembering.

15 more sleeps and we will be Canada bound! Tonight I have plans to open up the Roo and start the prep. Nobody is home - Jeff's in FL for work and Jake's at camp for a counselors only sleepover. Its been at least 1.5 years since I didn't have ANY responsibility to anyone other than myself (VT Rally 2017!)....it's gonna be weird.

Only 12 big sleeps for me—and several naps! Have been checking for electric sites, but doesn’t look like much hope of that happening.

True, but I’m arriving on Monday. I’ll be fine on my non-electric site. I manage fine in The Hollow at VT.

Well, I have some good news and some bad news.

Good news is my KZ is sold and I am moving forward with purchasing a 2020 Rockwood Roo 233s.

Bad news is I won't have it in time for the rally :(

So, if anyone is interested in purchasing my reservation of site 213 hit me up, otherwise I'll cancel in a few days.

STOOOOOOPPPPPP, Jake was so looking forward to seeing the kids! I know Pat was looking for an electric site so if 213 has electric, she'll probably take the reservation over from you.

I would consider it. But 1) I be shot for taking a non electric site... 2) we just firmed up our plans for the long weekend.. going to DS1's place (which happens to be close to where wrench will be) and may take the quad and ride on his FIL's 200 acre wood lot..
