I’m not easily scared lol. To find people of like mind who enjoy camping is very difficult. Most of my friends don’t enjoy camping.
The ice machine had no problems at all. Everything was fine until someones crock pot got plugged in, then, capowie! Roy had to go looking for more fuses.... But yes, I probably do have enough cord to plug into Mel's power post now.
Well, I'm all set for the next time.. when all you's left, we happened to be in town and I bought 2 30amp fuses, just incase .. figured it was easier cause we watched Old Roy walk around when the park cleared out removing the fuses from the empty sites ..
Having not been up that way for a very long time, are there any grocery stores near Restoule? I plan on stopping in Huntsville so I can see my niece but I am that one person that always forgets something no matter how many lists I have! I wouldn't be surprised if I show up one trip without my trailer LOL
Sundridge has a Foodland, and South River has a smaller Freshmart. The Foodland is a pretty good store, my mom does most of her shopping there.
Wonder how the snow situation is up in Restoule? I know in Algonquin, depending on where you go, there's still quite a bit.
No idea.. There was some still at the house om Friday and I know out on some of the back roads there was more. Need to prep the trailer these days off so it is ready to..
Port Sydney has a Freshmart that includes a small liquor/beer section. It’s right behind Dean’s Home Hardware—faces Hwy 11. Turn right at DR44 (South Mary Lake Road) just north of Stephenson Road 2. If you’re in Huntsville, the Walmart, Independent, and Bulk Food are just off Hwy 11 at the Hwy 60 exit.
I’m having my hubs greased tomorrow. I really should just get a grease gun and do it myself. I’m also anxious to install my 2 new baggage doors, but it hasn’t been warm enough (60C) for the caulking to cure properly. It looks like that won’t happen until after the long weekend. I had ice in my birdbath this morning! sigh...
Did you get your hubs greased, Pat?? I'm hoping to bring the trailer home next weekend at some point. Our first trip is in 2 weeks so need to get it planned. Maybe I should start making some lists!!
That was one reason I was leaning towards an Aliner. You could pack up wet and not worry about mould and mildew. Part of me regrets not getting one but it didn’t have the space I needed for when I travel with friends.
